company Globe Telecom bags the Most Innovative Telecom Project Award in the 16th
Telecom Asia Awards for Globe mySUPERPLAN, the first-ever postpaid plan in the
world that allows subscribers to create their plan, pick and mix their choice
of freebies such as calls, texts, and surfing services, as well as change their plan or freebies according
to their needs. A game-changer in the global telecommunications landscape,
Globe mySUPERPLAN bested Japan (NTT DoCoMo’s translation service), Singapore
(SingTel Innov8), Korea (KakaoTalk), and Indonesia (Telkomsel’s Digital
Lifestyle Strategy) to win the much-coveted award given to a telecom operator
that has implemented an innovative project with the biggest impact in the
market. Receiving the trophy from presenter Amrish Kacker (left) during the
awarding ceremonies held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel is Globe Telecom Head of
Postpaid Martha Sazon.
